Winston Shepard

SIT Zero Fees Southland Sharks (NBL) strengthened their roster with addition of 28-year old American 203cm forward Winston Shepard (college: SDSU), agency: Slash Sports. Shepard moved there from BC Odessa in Ukrainian Superleague. In 9 games he recorded 10.3ppg, 8.4rpg, 2.8apg and 1.6spg last season. The last summer he played at Titanes in Dominican Rep. LNB where in 5 games he averaged 11.8ppg, 9.2rpg, 3.6apg and 2.2spg.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2016.
Shepard is a very experienced player. Thanks to his pro career he managed to play on five different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America, Australia and of course North America) in seven different countries. He has played previously professionally in Hungary (Alba and Atomeromu), Israel (Maccabi Ashdod/Be'er Tuvia), Malaysia (WM Dragons), Mexico (Rayos de Shepardrmosillo), Montenegro (Mornar), New Zealand (Rams) and NBA G League (Santa Cruz Warriors and Agua Caliente Clippers of Ontario).
He graduated from San Diego State University in 2016 and it is his sixth season in pro basketball.
